It really started out as a nice
car, but no matter how nice it
was it was not my style. You
can see the many changes I have
made over the years from paint
to ride height.
Some crazy wiring, holes in the
panels, rough carpet, and some
silly steering wheel made a
great start for me. It allowed
me to really see what I liked,
and what I didn't.
Nothing like a '79-headed 350
making maybe 280hp.
Before my current motor, this
one went though a Liz Miles deep
clean bringing it to the
sterile look I have now
The first time the bellhousing
came off I saw what looks like
a stock replacement clutch and
a heavily-oiled bellhousing. In
the rear was a stock non posi
carrier with 3.08 gears and
factory axles. The driveshaft
survived its full term but was
replaced because of the
advantages of aluminum over
steel.
